As all of us Americans, and probably a lot of people in the world, know, Donald Trump has been elected the 45th President of the United States. I’m not here to talk about the politics in any sense because, in my experience, this surpasses religion as the worst conversation you could possibly have in public. What I am here to talk about is what this election tells me about the thoughts of the American people.
WE ARE SICK OF POLITICIANS!

Sums it up quite well, if you ask me.
I’ll be honest, I wanted Trump to win for that exact reason. I know this is going to offend some people when I say this but it all comes down to one very simple issue: Our Country is a Mess!
That’s right, with all the police shootings, the violence against police officers, ISIS, various other racial tensions, the economy, etc., our country is about ready to explode. I, for one, did not want to see this continue, which is exactly what would have happened if Hillary was elected.
In my personal opinion Donald Trump winning the election is great for two, somewhat, counter intuitive reasons.
1. He Does a Good Job.
This one is rather obvious. If he does a good job, and he leaves our country in an all around better state than he got it then who are we to complain? I know I certainly won’t. Sure, I might not agree with him on all the social issues and the like, but at the end of the day I’ll take the bad with the good.

Hopefully he’s not this crazy.
The thing I like the most about Trump is that he’s not a politician. He’s a business man, he’ll approach this thing with a whole other mind-set entirely.
Career politicians are the ones who got us into the trouble that we’re in. When our country started there was no such thing. George Washington, John Adams, Congress, the Senate, etc., all these people who helped form our country had businesses that supported them, not political appointments, which meant they had to get things done, and go home to keep their own income flowing.
Like these men, Trump has his own money and, because of this, he doesn’t have to answer to anyone except himself when exercising that power. Sure, he’ll have his cabinet and advisors, etc., but he won’t owe anyone a favor for getting him elected.
Look at the odds, the entirety of the Republican Party completely abandoned him, and he still pulled through the election 276 to 218.
Despite his rather non-presidential facade, I do believe he has the potential to do at least a decent job, and to be honest I’d rather roll my dice on him, than someone who’s just going to keep slamming our country’s head into the craziness of the past eight years.
2. He Does a Terrible Job.
If any President of ours was to do a terrible job, I want it to be Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton.
Do you know why?
Because if he does, then he’ll likely do such a terrible job, that someone will be forced to fix it. If Hillary got in there and did the run of the mill terrible job, that all politicians seem to do, then things will just drift on, status quo intact, until we all destroy ourselves.

I imagine going a lot like this.
I personally think that in the long run, it’s a good thing that Trump is elected President of the United States. I see a real opportunity for change here, regardless if Trump performs well or not, that our country hasn’t seen for a long, long time.
I’m sure a lot of people who read this are going to be angry at me, but oh well. That’s something I’m far more used to than any of you could believe.
So for the moment I’m content. Because right now, I think that our country may actually have a chance to survive this diseased state that it’s in.
Now to celebrate the man’s victory, I present you with this Epic Rap Battle of History!
